Overgrown Weeds and Landscape

As you are all aware the weeds and landscape have become overgrown and unattractive to the community. I wanted to keep you updated on the progress as I’m sure you have become concerned.

The landscape team has not overlooked the weeds and maintenance of the HOA property. US Site Services has been working diligently with the vendor that provides the Pre-Emergent that was applied in early February. The vendor sent out the chemical specialist to determine why the pre-emergent failed. It was determined last week the pre-emergent was a bad batch. The product is guaranteed and has been replaced. This product must be applied to somewhat dry grass, and this delayed the application on Friday and Monday with the rain. Today the pre-emergent and weed killer will be applied, it will appear the grass is being painted green! This allows the team to ensure they are applying the product to all areas and the grass is NOT being painted. The chemicals will dry and soak into the weeds in 24 hours. The green appearance will fade off as it is mowed and watered this week.
